Insight provides a full range of services in the analysis of data.

Data can be obtained with a range of different data types including simple numeric data, more complex quantitative data, and qualitative data (such as text from interviews and focus groups). There are a range of data analysis methodologies to suit each data type. The Insight team focus on quantitative data, and work closely with qualitative researchers to provide a multidisciplinary team for our clients.

Data analysis is often broken up into two stages

• Initial analysis – basic statistics tests and data visualization are used to understand the data quality and the complexities present within the data, and to gain an initial understanding of the patterns present within the data

• Main analysis – this uses a number of advanced statistical procedures in order to obtain the most accurate and informative results from the data

Insight is based at the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. The Precinct contains Griffith University Gold Coast, the Gold Coast University Hospital, the Gold Coast Private Hospital, and the Cohort and Lumina tech parks. Insight provides research, consulting, training, and IT support services for clients across the Precinct and for the broader international community.
