There are a number of biological markers that impact how susceptible patients are to different medical conditions or how they might respond to different treatments. These include:

• Genetics - the functioning and composition of a single gene

• Genomics - considers all genes and their inter-relationships in order to identify their combined influence on growth and development

Advanced techniques are required for the collection and analysis of these biological markers.

Insight is based at the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. The Precinct contains Griffith University Gold Coast, the Gold Coast University Hospital, the Gold Coast Private Hospital, and the Cohort and Lumina tech parks. Insight provides research, consulting, training, and IT support services for clients across the Precinct and for the broader international community.
